We were staying at a nearby hotel and needed to pickup dinner for take-away. We had the lamb gyro, dolmas, lentil soup, and falafel. Everything was very good. I spent 6 years working over in the Mediterranean/Middle East and this is definitely the real deal. We come to Opa-Locka for work and will definitely be back! Yummy!

We ordered take out-4 Gyro platters. I really wanted to enjoy the food from Pita Shop. The Gyro meat was more like Gyro jerky, it was dry, with not much flavor. My salad was old, soggy and drenched in dressing. Tzatziki sauce was weird, the cucumber was finely shredded and the texture was off. NO pita bread?!? My other side was baba ghanoush, it was ok although NO pita bread with a side that I paid extra for and clearly states on the menu +Pita. I will try them out again and hope for a better experience. @Pita Shop-Please look at was is being served to your customers, would you eat it?

We order to go. Waited. The food was just set on the counter without telling us it was ready. We waited for like 10 minutes. You can tell it was sitting a while from the oicture. Average on taste. Will probably not go back.

A couple of weeks ago, I went to dinner with my niece and we had such a great experience! We started with the hummus as an appetizer, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had — so fresh and flavorful. She ordered the lentil soup and a Lamb Gyro Pita. The soup was really good, and although I don’t eat meat, she absolutely loved the lamb. She usually doesn’t eat very much, but she finished the entire gyro — which says a lot! I had the Veggie Platter, and it was delicious. Everything on it was amazing: the falafels, stuffed grape leaves, tabbouleh, hummus, and baba ghanoush — every bite was full of flavor. On top of that, the portions were very generous, which was definitely a plus. We’ll definitely be back!

We ordered from Pita Shop via Grubhub. We've never been there but had a craving for shawarma. Pita Shop did not disappoint! We couldn't have asked for a fresher or more delicious meal. The flavors have depth and character. The beef shawarma was so tasty and tender. We were pleasantly surprised when our food arrived still hot and ready to eat, despite us being 30 min away. We really appreciate the care and attention put into our meal. We will be ordering again and will stop by when we're in the neighborhood. Many thanks 😊
